About Kira Lyn Blue
25Kira Lyn Blue is an urban fantasy author living in Indianapolis, IN with her husband, two furry ninjas with tuna breath, and a deaf dog rescued from the Humane Society that looks like a cross between David Bowie and Krypto the Superdog.
I am currently working on a novel about Jac, the chaos class sorceress or Jinx, tentatively titled Murphy’s First Law.
Thanks for following The Kraken’s Wake. Wish I had a dog that looked like Bowie.
Ok, now I have to post a picture and hope his cuteness doesn’t break the interwebs 🙂
Ziggy Stardust, ftw
Thanks for the like on my post procrastination. I have emailed a link to your post ‘herding cats’ to my husband – this may give him a little focus!
Shall we wager this here white pony that we get our comments removed? It is a magic pony btw.
I’ll take that bet and raise you one expertly trained virtual Ninja Squirrel. They don’t eat much and are really distracting when you’re trying to writ-
“HEY! That’s a laptop cord, NOT a chew toy! #@7g!”
At least you didn’t say rabbit… shudders…
I love this dog! So cute!
Hi Kira. Thanks for visiting and following my blog. I like the sound of a chaos-class sorceress. I don’t really know what it means, but it sounds like you’re at work on a creative story world. Good luck with your upcoming publication. 🙂

Thanks for liking my post. I don’t know if you watch anime, but there’s a violent one called Ninja Scroll. Early on (can’t remember why), I started calling it Ninja Squirrel, and the name has stuck. So that immediately caught my attention 😛 Also, if you haven’t already, check out my husband’s blog. His name’s Charles Yallowitz and he’s more sword and sorcery fantasy. His series is called Legends of Windemere. Very cool stuff.
Now I’m going to have to check Ninja Squirrel, er Scroll out. I actually do follow your husband’s blog 🙂
Yay! And yeah, the anime is violent and graphic, definitely not for the squeamish or little people (not talking dwarves :D). But there is a scroll in it.
I actually asked me husband and he mentioned he knew you, but he mentioned the Rome Construction Project, and I told him urban fantasy author, he didn’t connect the two, so now I’m not sure. Perhaps you can shed some light 🙂
Well, I’m a lurker on his blog. I haven’t been commenting much lately, just liking posts.
I’m a bit of a lurker myself. I do comment though, since I love getting them myself! But I also like the posts as well.
Thanks so much for the like on doomthings!!

Hello Kira!
I snuck a look at Murphy’s First Law and it looks fabulous. Your “About” says you need betas, but are you looking for critique partners too?
